First of all, as the other judges said, I would also like to congratulate all of the groups for a successful debate. I feel all the groups did a good job in presenting their option and supporting it with facts. All groups did participate in the debate, although some more than others. For example, the judges had to created questions for Option #1 so they could debate. This however, is also a fault of the remaining options who didn’t include Option #1 in their debate. Option #2 presented their ideas well, although not all group members participated in talking orally, it felt that they all worked together to put their ideas together. At times when asked, they were not sure on how to answer certain questions provided by the judges, but Option #2 was the best group regarding time limit and directions of the judges. Option #3 did very well on sticking to their “pull out now” idea, but they were constantly on the defensive. No other groups could say anything to them without getting on the defensive and raising their voice. However, this group did well at answering questions on the spot from the judges, and not needing a follow-up question. Although these groups did  a great job, the group that used the most accurate information and supported it with facts, supported their idea very well and was the most convincing was the group of Option #4. Option #4 was always involved in the debate. The members knew how to respect the judges, and respond to “attacks” from toehr groups very well and calmly while still providing accurate information.
